How to see how many chests you have opened in Fortnite
Fortnite tracks your Treasure Hunters chest count in-game. Open the Quests menu and look for the Treasure Hunt quest line โ the progress counter shows how many chests you have opened this season.
Enter that number here, then add chests as you play. The tracker turns the count into a cumulative probability so you can see whether your run is normal or genuinely unlucky.
Why tracking beats guessing
- You stop trusting memory. Players routinely overestimate how many chests they open. A counter is harder to fool.
- You see the real scale. 1,000 chests sounds like a lot โ it is a 0.72% chance at the official rate.
- You avoid the gambler's fallacy. A dry streak never raises the next chest's odds. The tracker shows cumulative odds without implying momentum.
